Engelsk — reading comprehension: A day in London (4-6. klasse)
Text: A Day in London
Last Saturday, Emma and her family went to London. They took the train from their home in Oxford. The train was fast — it only took one hour!
First, they visited the British Museum. Emma saw mummies from ancient Egypt and a big statue from Greece. Her little brother Tom liked the dinosaur bones.
After the museum, they walked to a small café near the river Thames. Emma had fish and chips, and Tom had a sandwich. Their mum and dad drank tea.
In the afternoon, they went on the London Eye. It is a huge wheel that goes round and round. From the top, Emma could see the whole city — Big Ben, the Tower of London, and many red buses.
"It was the best day ever!" Emma said on the train home.
